I live in a world of acronyms, jargon, and geekitude. I once used the word LIDAR in a game of Scrabble. I wonder why it takes five people at three institutions to figure out how to send a form from one person to another.

Synergy - Now this is a killer app!

I use the application at work to share my keyboard and mouse between my dual monitor setup and my Asus Eee PC (which is also awesome).  It saves me having to switch between the smaller and bigger keyboard while I’m working and lets me keep my e-mail and web browsing separate from everything else.  The fact that it moves seamlessly between a Windows XP box and a Linux Laptop makes it all the more impressive.

Now this is slick.  It’s like crayon physics on steroids.
